There are many varied leisure and attractions in Hertfordshire for everyone of all ages. Every town in Hertfordshire has unique attractions offering top class facilities. Here are some of very best options available. Hertfordshire has a vast selection of cinemas ranging from multinational group cinemas to bespoke individual cinemas showing classic films throughout the week. For the budding racing drivers there are go karting tracks and driving tracks around the county, including the very karting track the current world champion started at. They are great fun and great value for money. 

Golf ranges are a family favourite are the top-quality golf driving ranges and crazy golf courses all over the county. Great for the kids and an enjoyable day out. Often a favourite for Christmas parties and birthday parties. Always open 7 days a week with free parking. Adventure parks, playgrounds, parks and activity centres for children are scattered across the county. Some include climbing activities that are perfect for the kids to get out and have an adventure. High rope courses are also available for the very bravest of youngsters. Animal attractions are in Hertfordshire, include zoos and wildlife parks, safari parks, aquariums, children’s farms and petting zoos. There are also countless horse riding and stables where you can learn to ride or hire ponies and horses. 

For the water lovers we have many swimming pools and leisure centres across Hertfordshire. As well as this, there are water parks, lakes, sailing and kayaking facilities. Ice skating and skating is available, numerous 10 pin bowling alleys are great fun or if you prefer something a little more daring then there are numerous paintballing centres. Or why not try a Laser fun day out for all the family.

It is no secret that Harry Potter was made in Hertfordshire. As well as this, many television programmes are recorded in studios where you can be part of the audience.
