Hertford Theatre is a fantastic theatre full of fun entertainment and busy all year round. They have many different forms of entertainment including and much more. Hertford theatre wants you to go a place where you feel happier and it strives to make a difference by artistic endeavour and engagement and the want to change people for the better. The theatre has 3 main areas.

Auditorium

The large Auditorium is versatile and spacious and is the heart of Hertford Theatre. It has retractable seating and comprehensive, state of the art digital audio and lighting systems. It is a fully air-conditioned space that is perfect for productions, screenings, lectures, presentations, large parties and business showcases. Capacity: 408 seated, 600 standing.

Studio

Complete with a sprung dance floor, ballet barres, changing rooms and floor to ceiling mirrors, the studio is a great option for anyone looking for the perfect space to hold classes, workshops or auditions.

The River Room

With the beautiful picture perfect views of the river amidst the conservation area, The River Room is a great option for brainstorming, corporate meetings or small and glamorous parties. A fabulous, air-conditioned, private space with audio and visual equipment. The River Room can also be hired for children's birthday parties.
